“Thoughts can attract to us, that which we first mentally embody.”

"HOW" we think is more important than we think. It’s funny really, most times we just “think” with no regard for the “how.” Considering this, how is just as important as “what” we think. Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:8

(H) – stands for Hebrew and is found in the Old Testament.
(G) – stands for Greek and is found in the New Testament.
"Finally (G3063 - For the future, remaining, the rest), brethren (G80 - a fellow believer) whatsoever (G3745 - as far as) things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just (G1342 - righteous, observing divine laws, upright, keeping commands of God), whatsoever things are pure (G53 - pure from   carnality, chaste, clean, modest), whatsoever things are lovely (G4375 - acceptable, pleasing), whatsoever things are of God report (G2163 - sounding well); if there be any virtue (G703 - any particular moral excellence, purity, moral goodness), and if there be any praise (G134 - to extol, to sing praises in honor to God), think (G3049 - to reckon, count, to make an account of) on these things."

The almighty, all-knowing God knew in this life, one of the BIGGEST battles we will fight is the one in the mind. This is the location where we embody the things we ponder on regularly, but thanks be to God who ALWAYS causes us to triumph, because he gave us weapons to fight with and this scripture being one of them. Remember, God isn't calling us to fight the enemy as the world does, but as he does. In the word of God we are given every piece of weaponry we will EVER need, but if we don't use it we will be defeated. Finally consider this scripture 2 Corinthians 10:4 "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;" so if you’re tired of embodying and attracting that which is not of God, use the word of God and FIGHT TO CHANGE HOW YOU THINK!!!!

The first Scripture that came to mind was:

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Romans 12:2 KJV)

We must allow the Word of God to transform us and renew us so we can be acceptable and pleasing in the eyesight of God and it starts in the heart and mind of our Spirit.

I have noticed that the way we think plays a major part in the way we see things. One can see a problem and immediately search for the positive, while another sees it and gets irritated. However I believe if we were to really apply Phil.4:8 we would have a different outlook. I am not saying that everyday would be the greatest, but how we handle it will be different.
